Programs And Training Manager - Rev Sikhalo Cele
Reverend Sikhalo Cele is the Programs and Training Manager of the Ecumenical Church Leaders Forum and is an ordained minister of the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Religious Studies with the University of Zimbabwe among other qualifications which include Theology and democracy, Peace building and Conflict Resolution.
He was instrumental in shaping the ECLF peacebuilding programs making them practical and relevant to communities in Zimbabwe. His experience of working in communities dates back to 1993 when he worked with Christian Care, a social service arm of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches in Zimbabwe (ZCC) dealing with Humanitarian issues.
Rev Cele has served in various capacities in ecumenical circles including chairing ZCC standing Committee on Human Resources, the United Theological college and chairing the UCCSA Synod in Zimbabwe. He served as member of the Social Justice team of the UCCSA in Southern Africa among other positions. He is a results oriented peacebuilding practitioner with expertise in mediation, facilitation, negotiation and dialogue.
